Neo Catechuminal Way is an spiritual community of Christians established in the Philippines some years ago which aim of teaching its covenant members towards fullfilling Jesus Christ's teaching of evangelizing our brothers and sisters who were lost in their Christian Faith.
We are a Covenant Community of Santa Maria Goretti Parish. We are a group of Christians who have been led by the Lord to bind ourselves to Him and also to one another in the form of public commitment. Its call is to live a Christian lifestyle, in family and single life, through openness to the charismatic gifts, worship and prayer, sharing and teaching, and support for one another.
The Neo Catechumenal Way Community in Santa Maria Goretti Parish, Manila began sometime in September 2005. In describing ourselves as a Covenant Community, we see our community life as lived under a covenant. We enter into a solemn agreement before the Lord and with our brothers and sisters to live a life of the community.
The community members meet every wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at the Parish Centre for charismatic worship, to praise and thank the Lord, to listen to His Word, sharing personal experiences and to express their love and commitment to God and to one another. Apart from the community gathering every wednesday, members also come together every saturday to listen to the Gospel and receive the Holy Eucharist in the presence of our presbyter Father Isidro "Sid" Marinay also the Parish Priest of Santa Maria Goretti Parish Church, United Nations Avenue, Manila.
